Caught in the Moment

General
Poise mat is heated!
Our room offers infrared heat that warms the body from within rather than just heating the air around you. During Pilates, this creates a gentle, penetrating warmth that helps muscles relax and move more freely.
The result is a deeper, more effective workout, helping to improve circulation, flexibility, and muscle activation while reducing stiffness. Many members also find it enhances recovery, supports detoxification through sweat, and creates a calm, grounding environment that makes it easier to stay present in your practice.
We offer complimentary mats for every class, so you can arrive with ease and step straight into your practice. Each mat is carefully maintained and sanitized to ensure a clean, comfortable experience, so all you need to focus on is your movement.
Our mat classes are always changing, with a mix of equipment to keep things engaging and effective. Depending on the class, your instructor may use Pilates rings, balls, resistance bands, ankle weights, 3 lb or 10 lb dumbbells, and blocks.
We also offer extra foam mats you can layer for added cushion and support, especially helpful if your joints need a little extra care.
We offer sweat towels that you can use during class and scented wet towels to use post-class for a quick refresh. You can find all of that in the change room.
No, grippy socks are not required for mat Pilates. You’re welcome to practice barefoot.
That said, grippy socks can add a bit of extra stability, especially during movements where you want more control, so feel free to bring a pair if you prefer that added support.
Free street parking!
Just make sure to get there in time since parking might be difficult to find on a busy day!
We ask that cellphones be kept out of class, as notifications can be especially distracting in a dark room.
Please plan to stay for the full class and wait until it’s finished before leaving. Leaving during the final moments of meditation can be disruptive to others.
Above all, be kind and respectful to your instructor, the staff, and the space you’re in.
